The British gave the world Christianity, Cricket and of course the pop music - pop culture that so defined that the rest of the world was forced to follow. Consider his track record! Started off with the Take That' band and tasted initial success that also led him to have confidence in his own prowess. But in-between there was always an umbilical cord linking them together which saw his team up with Take That in 2010 and released a record breaking album fastest selling! He went on to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by selling 1.6 million tickets to his Close Encounters Tour hold your breath in a single day!

He has sales of over 70 million records worldwide and is the best-selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom with a large following even in Latin America.  He has been inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame and was voted the "Greatest Artist of the 1990s."

At 16 you are apt to be immature and more attracted to the superfluous and perhaps this was what make Robbie get into fast lane of alcohol and drugs which people subscribe was due to his voice being smothered by the other band members.  Dropped off the band he was later to join them again and again and produce some record breaking albums. As much as Madonna, he too has been inventive, bold and sometimes gone overboard with his videos. But everything he does and continues to do, make music lovers sit up and notice him.
