Robbie's Love Supreme

A singer-songwriter, musician, and actor, Robbie Williams was first known as member of the British male vocal singing group Take That. At young age where lads of his year were still enjoying the wonders of teenage life, Robbie Williams was already raising to popularity along with his other four co-members in the band. It was around 1990 that young Williams first tasted the savor of fame when Take That hit its first successful run in the music industry. In 1995, Williams had gotten into several issues with his band mates and also within the same year he had disputes with the management of the band. Williams then decided to take his leave and started seeking his luck as a solo artist.

Robbie Williams had made the best decision leaving Take That because he had eventually found a bigger success in going out for solo. His first album “Life Thru a Lens” was released in 1997 – bringing each single taken to a good ranking in the UK Singles Chart. The “Angels” (which was the fourth single taken from this album), boosted the sales of “Life Thru a Lens” in a skyrocket height. The album would soon hit million copies of sales in Europe.

The next turn of events favored even greater for Williams as his succeeding albums won him awards and millions of sales. He was ranked among the best-selling music artists worldwide for having sold over 70 millions of records round the globe. William was hailed as the best-selling solo artist in the UK and non-Latino artist who made it successfully in the Latin America. He has been given awards more than anyone – 17 BRIT awards and 7 ECHO awards. The singer-songwriter indeed paved a great trail of success from being a member of a band to a revered solo artist up to the present time.
