Robbie's Story
Robbie Williams is a sought after English singer. With his 70 million records that was sold worldwide, he became a renowned singer in the United Kingdom. He was a member of a group “Take That”, in which his career started but eventually left to write and play his own songs and masterpieces. He then launched his solo career. His first single “Old Before I Die” was released, it was taken from his debut album, Life Thru a Lens. The big turn in his career life took place after his fourth single was launched, the “Angels”. It became a hit. It turns out to be the 58th best selling album in the history of United Kingdom with over 2.4 million sales. He was not that popular and successful outside Europe until he released his own made album “Sing When You’re Winning”. Rock DJ, a song in his album won the title as the “Best Single of the Year”. In one week time his album became 2x platinum. After the success of his album, he continued to record more songs. In the late 2001 he released another album entitled, “Swing When You’re Winning”. Seven million copies of the album were sold in a short period of time. One of his single from the album “Beyond the Sea” was played in the movie Finding Nemo.
Robbie Williams made a name in the music industry. He was given so many awards as recognition for his contributions in the industry. Almost all of his released albums became a success. His latest album “Take the Crown” with the single “Candy”, became his first number one single in the United Kingdom. Robbie Williams was reportedly to have a team up with Micheal Buble for the recording of their duet songs for the new album Swing. It was believed that the team up would be a success because both of them have a great passion in singing.
